Our Internship Program gives students the opportunity to work directly with development teams and business operations departments to gain hands-on experience. For 12 paid weeks every summer, interns embed themselves with our teams to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the intensity and fun of creating epic entertainment.
Our US internship application season runs from September to December every year. Due to the high volume, we only accept applications during this open submission period.
To be considered for a Blizztern role, you must be
- Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree
- Returning to school upon completion of the internship
Please do! We will happily consider international students under the F-1 visa with the necessary work authorization documents.
Not the kind that will have you grabbing coffee all summer! Here at Blizzard we offer a fun-filled, 12-week internship program every summer between the months of May-September. Internship opportunities vary from year to year, but often include game development such as: 3D art, animation, programming, design, production, and quality assurance. We also offer internships in business support such as finance, business intelligence, and community. Oh, and did we mention it’s paid?
We offer internships in our Irvine, CA and Austin, TX offices. But if you’re not in our neck of the woods, don’t despair! We provide housing for non-local students.
Not only is this allowed, it is strongly recommended. Feel free to apply to each role that sparks your interest. Increase your chances by tailoring your application for each position you apply to.
Let your passion for development shine! We are interested in students who have been using their educational opportunities and networks to develop creative content related to the internship role they’re applying to. Be sure to include your personal projects, involvement in student group projects, and/or any other creative ways you have demonstrated your ability to produce quality content.
For business operations interns, we look for individuals with a strong understanding and a passion for the discipline, and the ability to apply it in a fast-paced entertainment industry. We’re looking for students who are highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have strong business acumen.
Historically, the majority of our interns have been juniors in college; however, we would never turn away a talented freshman or sophomore. We also welcome Masters and PhD students into the program.
Awesome! Thank you for applying. Your next step is to patiently wait while we carefully review every single application. You may have to hang tight for several weeks. But in the meantime, please connect with us on LinkedIn and follow us on Twitter (@BlizzardCareers) to stay on top of the latest updates.
