Product Developer

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a Product Developer to join the Product Development team in our Consumer Products Asia department. The Product Development team extends the Blizzard Entertainment brands to licensed merchandise, ranging from apparel and collectibles to computer peripherals and weapon replicas. Additionally, the team is responsible for creating exclusive branded consumer products featured at Blizzard sponsored events, esports and conventions.

The position will work closely with licensing managers, internal franchise holders and art directors. The ideal candidate has professional graphic design experience, strong attention to detail and experience working with approval tracking systems.


  • Product Development
  • Create new graphic designs for licensed consumer products and packaging.
  • Provide feedback and graphical mock-ups of requested changes for licensed product submissions
  • Work with approval tracking software programs
  • Route approval feedback for soft line consumer product categories: apparel, accessories, homeware
  • Route approval feedback for hard line consumer product categories: action figures, sculptures, collectibles
  • Route approval feedback for publishing consumer product categories: calendar, posters, stickers  
  • Provide external partners with franchise approved assets, logos and legal lines
  • Work with internal development teams to communicate brand values and design aesthetics to external licensing partners
  • Approval Tracking
  • Utilize approval software programs to support adherence to feedback cycle requirements
  • Provide detailed written feedback and graphic mock-ups
  • Consult with teammates, art managers and internal franchise holders as needed

 Graphic Design

  • Create new graphic designs for licensed consumer products and packaging.
  • Create design artworks for event banners, web banners and esports consumer products.
  • Creatively contribute to the look, design and features of Blizzard consumer products


  • 5+ years of product development and graphic design experience
  • Ability to work and thrive in an iterative design environment
  • Professional experience with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office related programs
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment with various internal groups
  • Creativity and complex problem solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Passion for playing video games
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Extensive knowledge of one or more Blizzard games, including novels and comics
  • Understanding of global product markets and regional design executions
  • Experience designing, developing or approving other leading entertainment franchises
  • Passion for art, movies, storytelling and game development
