Desktop Administrator, IT Events
IT - Blizzard Internal Information Systems Versailles

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a self-motivated and skilled IT Events Administrator. Events Administrators are the first line of support for all information technology related issues during live events as well as the experts for all desktop solutions designed to support our employees at events. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PC/Apple hardware and Windows/Mac operating systems, networking issues.


  • Design mobile and desktop solutions tailored to our events needs
  • Customize, test and deploy Operating Systems per Blizzard IT standards
  • 1st and 2nd Level Support at events and within the Blizzard EU offices
  • Manage the IT events physical and digital inventory at all times


  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an IT technician
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Familiar with Powershell and deployment systems
  • Experience with Streaming (Desktop hardware/software/audio/video setup)
  • Strong knowledge of Group Policy management
  • Strong knowledge with hardware troubleshooting
  • Customer focused
  • Proven experience to working autonomously
  • Proven experience to adapt to rapidly changing situations proposing methodical solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Understanding of the ITIL framework and Agile methodologies
  • Able (and willing) to lift a minimum of 30kg
  • Able (and willing) to travel a minimum of 1 week/month in Europe
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English


  • Passionate player of games, particularly Blizzard Entertainment’s games
  • ITIL knowledge and experience
  • Fluent in French or German
  • Experience Managing Apple IOS devices
  • One or more of the following certifications : CompTIA A+ certified, CompTIA Network+, MCSA Windows 10 certified, CISCO CCT
