Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a seasoned leader and social media obsessive to bring our digital strategy to the next level, to be based in our office in Versailles, France. Responsible for driving growth across all social platforms and identify new digital engagement opportunities for Blizzard Entertainment will be a key player in our social media strategy across EMEA.
Lead and support the development of the immersive social strategies of Blizzard games.
Collaborate and partner with key network leaders on current and future digital POE strategies, along with the Media & Data Marketing Director on paid media.
Build and maintain our social intelligence data insight tools and platform.
Structure and optimize cross franchise digital publication strategy, tactics and processes.
Lead a team of 15, responsible for EMEA data insights & strategy, partnerships and digital publications.
Foster social innovation within the publishing group, working closely with franchise leads, data & media marketing, communications and creative production directors.
Management & Vision:
Demonstrated leadership experience within a diverse team to include coaching, mentoring and professional development of existing and rising talent within the team
Define and set up suitable scalable strategy and long-term goals to drive growth and innovation
Identify, advise, and champion key initiatives across the group
Fostering a continued culture of team collaboration and alignment with business objectives and priorities
Manage resourcing for the group, ensuring effective allocations of expertise to achieve goals
Forward thinking, considers new trends whilst appreciating traditional marketing influences
Passionate leader with a genuine interest in people and team development
Knowledge of Social trends and content specific for Blizzard gaming fans
Familiar with managing and using data for understanding, benchmarking and setting up strategies
Experience in navigating large international working environments
Strong expertise and experience working in, or with social media and video platforms (8-10 years of experience with social media)
Agile expertise in social media strategies and presence for qualitative brands
Experience in advising/making social campaigns for entertaining brands (agency)
Constantly seeking for the next innovations and trends in regards to Blizzard gaming activity
Very good sensitivity with technology and data, process and optimisation;
Results oriented, measuring the impact of decisions and strategies.
Fluent in English
Interest in video games and gaming/internet culture
