Blizzard Entertainment was founded in 1991 by three new college graduates looking to build a future doing something they were extremely passionate about. If you're looking for an exciting internship or a great job right out of college, this could be the place for you!

INTERNSHIPS

Our Internship Program gives students the opportunity to work directly with development teams and business operations departments to gain hands-on experience.  For 12 paid weeks every summer, interns embed themselves with our teams to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the intensity and fun of creating epic entertainment.

Our US internship application season runs from September to December every year. Due to the high volume, we only accept applications during this open submission period.

How do I become a Blizztern?

"l was 14 when World of Warcraft came out and it became something I was 110% passionate about. This encouraged me to consider Blizzard as not just 'games as a hobby' but 'games as a career'. I felt that because of that consistent passion, why not try to turn it into a career where I’m here every day, talking about it, working with the people who create these really cool things for players who feel the same way I did when I was 14. You can do it too, don’t give up!”

“One of my first assignments was FX work on the endorsement system, and it was really cool to see things I worked on go quickly into the live game. The pacing at which I got assigments was just perfect. Simpler things at first where I could experiment and get familiar with the tools, then projects got progressively more difficult but built upon the things I had been learning. It was a really nice balance of not feeling like I was drowning in work too difficult for me or feeling like I was doing something that wasn’t important or impactful to the game. I love the trust, creative power and control I was given over my work.”
